B&D Electrical is active in all aspects of electrical construction, specializing in hi-tech production facilities, micro word processing and clean room facilities, semi-conductors, and electrical power generating. Electrical services include consultation, life-cycle planning, procurement, construction testing and start-up, instruction, and maintenance of electrical components and systems for government facilities, as well as industrial, healthcare, commercial and institutional facilities throughout the United States.

B&D has performed electrical services for thousands of projects. We are capable of providing a wide range of delivery options, from installation and construction management to design-build or design-assist.

B&D was the first electrical contractor in the world to work on micro technology and clean room facilities.  B&D worked closely with Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) to create small prototypes of clean rooms and the development of the first micro electronic laboratory at SNL in Building 870. This project was completed in 1974 and was the first of its kind in the world.  In addition, B&D  has since built numerous class 100 clean rooms at SNL. In the 1980’s, SNL developed the design concept of laminar flow technology; the first tools installed in the facility were supported with the assistance of B&D.
